FCC Compliant
Contact is one of the only manufacturers that actually works at frequencies approved by the FCC for tracking equipment. At 433-434 MHz, Contact products work at channels that are designed for tracking equipment. At these frequencies, you will experience less interference, so that you can get the greatest accuracy in any piece of tracking equipment.
Contact Standard Receiver
The Contact® Standard series also offers great tracking capabilities on the same frequency range of 434-435 MHz with 100 available built in channels. While still directionally accurate the Contact® Standard receiver offers two fewer antennas than the Pro Series. If you are looking for directional accuracy without the pinpoint detail and option flexibility of the Pro series the Contact® Standard series is for you.
The Contact® Standard transmitting collar weighs in at 6 oz. and operates on a 3.6V lithium battery. With 400 hours of available run time you will spend more time hunting and less time hunting for your dog. The Standard transmitter has a range of 12 miles and due to the 434-435 frequency operating will achieve this in moderate cover; not just line of site like other available systems.
The Contact® Standard receiver with bark indication has identical spec to the Standard transmitter with the addition of a bark sensor which provides immediate notification that your dog has located its game. Also the battery life is reduced to 250 hours with the bark indicator option included.
The Contact® Light transmitter weighs in at 2.4 oz and is perfect for those smaller dogs. Operating on a single AA alkaline battery you will achieve over 150 hours of run time operation. The Contact® Light transmitter has an effective range of 7 miles.
