Fish Oil For Dogs

I got a call today from one of my partners, who wanted to tell me about what one of the participants in our test group had told him. Our test group had tested my ultra pure pharmaceutical grade fish oil for a few months, before it was released, and the female participant that had spoken to my partner was, for lack of a better term, our guinea pig.

The woman in question is a nurse at a dialysis clinic, is around 50 years of age, widowed, and has two dogs, (real dogs…not those miniature rats that are so popular today), and the dogs are somewhere between 9 and 10 years old.

She had been taking an inferior fish oil product which gave her “fish burps” and did not have the high levels of EPA/DHA that she wanted. So she started taking my formula, which is pharmaceutical grade and has those higher levels of EPA/DHA that she was looking for.

Her reason for taking the fish oil was to cut down on the amount of pain she was feeling from being on her feet all day as a nurse. At 50, she was experiencing arthritic discomfort, and she had heard that fish oil was helpful in reducing the type of pain that occurs in the joints.

After a month on my special fish oil formula, she reported substantial relief from her discomfort, saying it was almost like she had new legs.

Here’s where the story goes to the dogs.

Since her dogs Shea and Shaggy were getting older, they were definitely not as active as they had been in days past, and Shea had developed a little hitch in her step. After taking my fish oil formula for one month and experiencing a reduction in her pain, she decided to start giving the dogs one soft gel daily, along with their after-walk treat. Amazingly, after only two weeks on the fish oil, the dogs’ energy levels were way up and Shea’s limp was gone.

I’m not a veterinarian and I know this story does not count as a scientific study. But it’s a very nice outcome for the dogs, and I’m certainly not going to tell her to stop giving fish oil for dogs.

This woman is our study is definitely not the only one who has touted pharmaceutical-grade fish oil as an effective tool against the pain of common arthritis. Many, many people have reported a dramatic decrease in pain associated with all types of joint pain when they are on a regimen of high quality fish oil.

Columbia University Medical Center recently released a study that shows that omega 3 fatty acids may assist in decreasing the risk of Alzheimer’s by 19 to 24%. Taking pharmaceutical grade fish oil can also be very beneficial to your heart, joints, and overall brain function.

Alzheimer’s is the #1 health fear of my generation, and the one that follows, too.
